At the end of December when I was planning my goals for 2020, I decided this would be the year that I would stop wasting time and put my best efforts into my writing career.
It seemed serendipitous that this year is the Year of the Rat. The rat is the first sign of the Chinese zodiac and represents new beginnings. That being the case, I would say that this is a good year for a fresh start.
In relation to the Chinese zodiac, other characteristics associated with the rat are being adaptable and resourceful, energetic, and hard working or industrious. It's said that Rat years are generally seen to be good years for creative people such as artists, writers, and musicians.
Here's to a great Year of the Rat for all of us whether you're a creative type or not.
