Today I'm meeting with my critique partner for the first time this year. With the exception of the week of Thanksgiving through the week of New Year's Day, we usually meet one day each week after I get out of work. We both had things going on in January so decided not to start meeting again until this month.
I'm looking forward to seeing her. Not only is she a great critique partner, but we're also friends. Knowing that I'll be meeting her every week helps keep me writing even if I only manage a few pages because I don't like going empty handed.
