What's Up Wednesday

This week...

My Current WIP (Work in Progress): I didn't get very much accomplished last week. I'm really struggling to write the missing section pages.

Quote of the Week: "By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection which is the noblest; second by imitation which is the easiest; and third by experience which is the bitterest." ~ Confucius

What I'm Reading: "I'm currently reading "You Will Suffer" by Alexandra Ivy. It's a romantic suspense novel.

Random Thoughts: I've started building jigsaw puzzles again. I find that working on puzzles allows my brain to wander which sometimes helps me figure out plot issues I'm having in my writing. I'm hoping doing puzzles again will help me with the pages I'm struggling to write now.

What's Up Wednesday

This week...

My Current WIP (Work In Progress): I didn't get any writing done last week due to the hard drive in my laptop failing. I was able to go to my sister's and use her laptop for quick, short things like writing posts, but the usual two hours I normally write was out of the question. Now that I have a new laptop, I hope to get some serious writing done to make up for lost time.

Quote of the Week: "One drop of ink is all it takes to cloud a whole glass of water. Doubt is like that ink drop. That's why it's important to build belief in yourself and hold onto your faith in yourself." ~ Unknown

What I'm Reading: I'm currently reading What Are You Afraid Of? by Alexandra Ivy. This is the second book in the Agency series.

Random Thoughts: I was using the 2003 version of Microsoft Word on my old laptop. It was out of date, but everything pretty much worked the same as the newer versions except everything was done by drop down lists instead of the ribbon option at the top of the screen. Now I may have to upgrade whether I want to or not.

Random Photo of the Week:

This is one of the sunflowers I grew a couple of years ago. I have new sunflower seeds I'm planting this year. I'm hoping they bloom as nicely as these did.

What's Up Wednesday

This week...

My Current WIP (Work In Progress): I did 50 pages of revisions/edits last week. I plan on doing at least that amount this week.

Quote of the Week:  “A year from now, you’ll wish you had started today.” ~ Anonymous

What I'm Reading: I started Pretend You're Safe by Alexandra Ivy last night. Ms. Ivy is a relatively new author to me. I've only read 2 of her other books and enjoyed them both.

Random Thoughts: I can't watch any type of horror movie or read straight up horror books because they give me nightmares, but I don't have any problems reading books involving serial killers or straight up suspense novels.

Random Photo of the Week:

I felt in need of a little bit of Spring so I purchased an African Violet plant.

What's Up Wednesday

This week...

My current WIP (work in progress): I have approximately 70 more pages to revise and I'll be done! I hope to finish this week but if not, I'll definitely be done by the end of next week.

Quote of the Week: “Save your wishes and rituals for later because right now good luck and hard work are one and the same. Know your intention, put in the focused time, and you will receive your due.” ~Unknown

What I'm reading: Kill Without Mercy by Alexandra Ivy. This is the first book in the ARES Security series.

Random Thoughts: This is the first year in a while that I hadn't seen the majority of the movies that were nominated for the Best Picture category for the Academy Awards. The funny thing is I don't have a burning need to see them either. Usually I try to see any I might have missed after the awards show has aired.
