This week...
My
Current WIP (Work in
Progress): Last week's progress was negligible. I'm having a hard time concentrating. Hoping to get back on track this week.
Quote of the Week: "Every day is a new beginning. Take a deep breath, smile, and start again." ~ Unknown I'm repeating the quote from last week. Mainly because with everything that's going on, I think we can all use a deep breath and a smile.
What I'm Reading: I'm reading "The Prince of Broadway" by Joanna Shupe. I started it on Monday evening and should finish it tonight.
Random Thoughts: Not really so random - Please follow the advice of the experts and practice social distancing during this time. Even if you feel you're not at risk, you maybe one of the people who have it and are asymptomatic which could mean you are spreading it to each person you come in contact with without even being aware that you are doing so.
Random Photo of the Week:
Wishing I could pull the covers over my head until things get better too.

What's Up Wednesday
This week...
My Current WIP (Work In Progress): Writing is on hiatus during the holidays.
Quote of the Week: "Decide. Commit. Succeed." ~ Unknown
What I'm Reading: Magnate by Joanna Shupe. I haven't had a lot of free time to read lately. I'm hoping to finish the book by the end of this week.
Random Thoughts: I love the holiday season, but this year I'm finding that I'm eager for the holidays to be over so the new year can start. I am looking forward to the promise of the new year more than I have in a long time.
Random Photo of the Week:
Mrs. Green and friend watching the birds outside the window.

What's Up Wednesday
This week...
My Current WIP (Work In Progress): Writing is on hiatus during the holidays.
Quote of the Week: “Opportunities are gifts. To seize the opportunity and run with it is a living, breathing thank you note.” ~ Unknown
What I'm Reading: Magnate by Joanna Shupe. This is the first book in the Knickerbocker Club series. It's also the first book I've read by Ms. Shupe and I'm really enjoying it. I will definitely be reading the other books in the series.
Random Thoughts: I spent last Friday lazing away on the sofa and reading a book. It's pretty much all I did all day. Well, I did take a 45 minute nap in the afternoon. I can't remember the last time I took a day to do absolutely nothing, didn't worry about what needed to be done, or how long my "to do" list was. I woke up the next day feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you can take a day and do whatever you find relaxing and nothing else, I highly recommend it. It was a nice way to destress before the craziness of the Christmas season begins.
Random Photo of the Week:
Mrs. Green's (and mine) ideal way to spend Black Friday.
