This week...
My Current WIP (Work In Progress): I'm current to where I should be for this week. I'm working hard to stay on pace.
Quote of the Week: “Your best is good enough.
Believe it.” ~ A Personal Family Member.
What I'm Reading: I started Into The Night by Cynthia Eden last night. It's part of her Killer Instinct series. I'm a big fan of Ms. Eden and read all of her books.
Random Thoughts: Because I have so much free time (sarcasm here), I've decided to start crocheting a new blanket. It's made of individual granny squares with a daisy pattern in the center of each square. I'll post a photo of some of the squares next week.
Random Photo of the Week:
Somebody's new favorite place to sleep.

What's Up Wednesday
This week...
My Current WIP (Work In Progress): I ended up having to work extra hours last week after all. I have a birthday card to make this week for my little nephew's party this coming weekend and my mom has a doctor appointment so I'm not sure how much writing related stuff I'll get done.
Quote of the Week: "Small daily habits will open the way for a lifetstyle change. You won't believe the remarkable difference one small habit can make." ~ Unknown
What I'm Reading: I'm reading Before the Dawn by Cynthia Eden. She writes really good romantic suspense novels. If you're a fan of romantic suspense, you'll love her books.
Random Thoughts: Looking forward to the cooler fall weather if only so I can start baking again. I don't do much baking in the summer, it's too hot to have the oven on heating up the house already more than the weather itself does.
Random Photo of the Week:
This was me this past weekend. I don't know if it's because it's darker now in the mornings, but I slept in until just about 6:45am both Saturday and Sunday. I rarely sleep past 6:00am even if I don't have the alarm clock set.

What's Up Wednesday
This week...
My current WIP (work in progress): Last week I went through the pages my critique partner made comments on and put them in order, gathered and arranged my notes on the characters and story, then printed out the manuscript to have everything ready to dive into the revisions this week.
Quote of the Week: “The transformation you desire is as possible as you are committed to making it happen.” ~ Unknown
What I'm reading: I'll be starting Torn by Cynthia Eden tonight. It's the 4th book in the LOST series. I'm reading the series out of order, but haven't felt lost in the two other books I've read. I'm guessing this will be the same.
Random Thoughts: I've decided not to do any container gardening this year. I just didn't feel up to fighting off the squirrels this summer. I am keeping my flower garden going though. I spent the weekend weeding it and will be putting in a few annuals this coming weekend.
Random Photo of the Week:
Somebody trying to keep his belly cool in the 90 degree heat.

What's Up Wednesday
This week...
My current WIP (work in progress): No progress so far this week. I was summoned for jury duty the first part of the week. I hope to get at least a few pages written the last part of the week.
Quote of the Week: "If you don't make the time to work on creating the life you want, you're eventually going to be forced to spend a lot of time dealing with a life you don't want." ~ Kevin Ngo
What I'm reading: I'm starting Taken by Cynthia Eden tonight. This is the fifth book in the Last Option Search Team (LOST) series. I haven't read any of the others in the series. I'm hoping it's not a series where you have to have read the previous books to know what's going on.
Random Thoughts: I need to stop procrastinating and start getting things done.
Random Photo of the Week:
Somebody enjoying a sunny afternoon with his new ball.

What's Up Wednesday
This week...
My current WIP (work in progress): I didn't get much done last week. I ended up working 2 hours extra each day last week except for Friday. Hoping to be back to regular hours this week.
Quote of the Week: “When it comes to following your heart’s desire, there’s no such thing as being too old to start or too young to start. It’s the happiness of your heart that counts.”~ Unknown
What I'm reading: Twisted by Cynthia Eden. I just started this book, but am already enjoying it.
Random things: I bought a rowing machine over the weekend. I had my right knee rebuilt a few years ago so I'm limited in what I can do for exercise. I was told I'll need knee replacement surgery but my orthopedist and I are trying to put it off for as long as possible because I'm "too young." I guess they don't like to do it unless you're at least 50 years old so that you have better odds of not having to undergo the surgery more than once. I've been told that the parts only last 20 years or so, then may need to be replaced.
Random Photo of the Week:
I saw this on the internet and it made me laugh.
